I'm a PhD candidate in the University of Washington's HCDE department advised by Julie Kientz. My primary research emphasis lies at the intersection of accessibility and HCI, and my work currently focuses on investigating the barriers which limit disabled gamers’ ability to fully enjoy games and developing solutions to overcome them. I am a member of the CHiLL Lab and the dub group, and am the co-lead of the UW’s Critical Gaming Project.
When I’m not doing the science, I can usually be found playing video games (and even on occasion streaming them), consuming sci-fi of various sorts, enjoying live music, or moonlighting as a pub trivia competitor.
